Fixed a problem with the assignment of the bearing pad spacing. In some cases when there were two rows of bearings and two bearings were at the same location (equal coordinates), the program had an error. When load was applied to these bearings, it was applied at a different location and the results were not accurate. This was a random occurrence due to round off and could have happened in single pier and bridge models.

Fixed problem with the proper handling of the force recovery for the bridge span elements (bridge deck) when using AASHTO load combinations. During the analysis process all the loads were handled properly. So the displacements and results were calculated properly. The problem existed only in the print of the final forces in the output file. The program was showing the results for the bridge span elements only with the self weight (if it existed) included in the results instead of being subtracted. Hence the bridge span elements had greater resulting moments and shears in the printout.

Fixed units issue with Py plot for McVay Limestone model. Issue only affected display graph, analysis results were unaffected.

Fixed a problem with the application of the self weight of the piles when there were AASHTO load combinations. This occurred in all versions of FB-Pier (v3 and 4). The self weight of the pile (if existed) was not properly added when there were AASHTO combinations in the model.

Fixed the output file (.out file) where it was showing the DC load case with a negative sign. This was only a typo error and did not affect the results.
Engine »
Fixed problem with memory allocation. Some AASHTO cases would not converge for certain load combinations. When those combinations were analyzed individually the program would converge.

Changed the printing in the .out data file. When the program was not able to calculate the interaction diagram for a section it was showing an error message in the .out file for that particular section. That message is changed to a warning since the inability of the program to obtain the interaction diagram does not affect the analysis results. The only affected quantity is the demand to Capacity ratio.

Fixed problem in the .dll library which calculates the AASHTO load combinations. The program was not accounting properly for the negative sign in the reversible load cases when there were user defined coefficients. The program was calculating the number of combinations properly but for the reversible load combinations it was not using the proper sign for the user defined coefficient. It worked correctly for default coefficients.
